WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF KHROMOPHILIA.
The idea of Khromophilia lingered as a quiet whisper in my mind for far too long. I longed for it ever since I gave up my dream of being an artist and became a biochemist instead. When my pull toward the arts grew too strong, I went back to art school to earn my second bachelor’s degree. I worked as an interior designer, and in many other roles, always keeping that whisper in the background—never letting it get too loud. The reason? Fear of the unknown.
In 2020, when the world shut down, I was cast on a show called Making It. Being thrust into the spotlight, vulnerable and exposed to millions, erased any lingering fears I had. That experience finally gave me the courage to start Khromophiliaand pour everything I knew—and everything I had—into this incredible business of mine.
With the support of my eager and devoted partner, Guru, we officially launched Khromophilia in 2021. Everything we create begins as a simple watercolor sketch and evolves into the products we offer at Khromophilia.com. All of it is designed and made in our cozy studio in Louisville.
No matter how this little brand evolves and grows, our motto will always be to remain unapologetically colorful.
